Free standing glass balustrade

A beautiful balustrade for a first floor balcony.  The customer wanted a glass structure that would allow a great view from the lounge and also make a superb feature.

A special mild steel shoe that was securely fixed into position before installing 12mm thick, clear toughened glass and aluminium colour cladding.  To meet safety requirements, the balustrade had to be 1100mm high.
